EQUSPACE-project members from BME

Dr. András Pályi

Dr. András Pályi is an associate professor at the Department of Theoretical Physics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), and the group leader of the HUN-REN-BME-BCE Quantum Technology Research Group. His group does research in condensed-matter theory and quantum information, focusing on the physics of semiconductor spin qubits and superconducting qubits, quantum error correction, as well as geometrical and topological properties of quantum systems.

Within EquSpace, the BME group provides the theoretical description of qubit-phonon coupling mechanisms for donor spin qubits in silicon, and develops models for devices and experiments relevant for the project.
